Mark Anderson and Barbara Maw win at jury trial in Summit County

Mark Anderson and Barbara Maw successfully defended at trial a personal injury lawsuit filed in the Silver Summit District Court. The case arose from a skier who fell on a Park City-area ski run, and was then injured on a metal landscaping stake located in the adjacent yard of a slope-side home. The action presented several interesting legal issues, including landowner duties owed to an accidental trespasser. After three days of trial, a Summit County jury determined on June 13th that the home owner was not at fault for the skier's injuries.
